Our Story
Welcome to Harvest Creek! We are thankful you are here. We are Noel and Brandi, and along with our four children we proudly breed our dogs in a healthy holistic environment surrounded by our family. We both have backgrounds in the medical field, I am a Registered Nurse and Brandi is a Dental Hygienists. We love our dogs and maintain a daily commitment to give them the best life possible. Harvest Creek was born out of our life-long love of dogs, specifically great family dogs. In the busyness and stress of life, it's great to come home to a pet that is happy to see you and just wants to spend time with you.
Our first Golden Retriever Ruger is the best at this! What is even more special about Ruger is his recognition of emotions, stress, and anxiety in our lives. When he senses those emotions, he makes himself physically present, tries to stay with you, be close to you, etc. Through many difficult times, one of our dogs like Ruger, has been there to comfort us and this was a primary factor when Harvest Creek began breeding. Our family was blessed with an acreage in 2022 which has allowed Harvest Creek to implement a professional breeding program specifically focused on making great family dogs. Our small state licensed breeding program includes Miniature and Toy Poodles, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Golden Retrievers.
Family Walks
Our dogs are our pets who are raised on our five-acre property in Central Iowa with Harvest Creek flowing through the middle of our timber. We have a climate controlled "dog barndominium" where our adult dogs can come and go, play, and even watch TV! It also includes my office where I can work and spend as much time as possible with them. Our nursey is in our home where puppies are born and receive 24-hour love and care until they are ready for their new homes. Our goal is to breed healthy dogs with great temperaments for long-lasting family pets, emotional support animals, and therapy dogs.
